After losing their first game of the Bangladesh Premier League season, Chattogram Challengers (CCH) registered an important win in the previous match against Khulna Tigers and are set to host Fortune Barishal (FBA) on January 13 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. The Barishal-based side, on the other hand, managed to win their last match against Rangpur Riders and will eye for a win to improve their standing in the league.

Their batting has been marvellous so far this season with the middle-order delivering on a consistent basis. Afghanistan batter Ibrahim Zadran scored a brilliant half-century in the last match (52 off 41) while Mehidy Hasan Miraz accompanied him in the middle, scoring 43 off 29. Coming back to the Challengers, the Shuvagata Hom-led side completely dominated Khulna Tigers in the last match. Opener Usman Khan scored a scintillating century (103* off 58) while his partner Max O’Dowd scored 58 off 50. Courtesy of their blistering partnership, Chattogram chased the target with ease. Coming to their bowling performance, two of their bowlers conceded more than 11 runs per over in the previous match and overall, there is a lot of room for improvement.
