Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim continued their rich vein of bowling form for Sylhet Strikers, as their side registered a massive seven-wicket win over Chattogram Challengers on Saturday in Bangladesh Premier League.
Bowling first, Amir broke an important 88-run partnership by trapping Afif Hossain for 34.
In the very next over, Imad struck by removing the dangerous looking Mehedi Maruf for 54.
The Pakistan all-rounder wasn’t done yet as he clean bowled Max O’ Dowd in the same over, to put break onto the Challengers’ innings.
Amir finished with an economical spell of 1/17 in his four-over spell, while Imad conceded 23 runs and took two wickets in his four overs, to restrict Challengers to 174-6.
Amir and Imad are dominating the bowling charts along with other Pakistan bowlers. The left-arm pacer is the third joint-highest wicket-taker in this season with 11 wickets, with Wahab Riaz at the top with 13 wickets. Imad has also taken 9 wickets in nine matches and is one of the most economical bowlers along with Amir.
